Why Border Collies?


	Border Collies have inbred instincts to herd, not retrieve. Using other retrieving dogs is far more likely to lead to problems.
	Border Collies have inbred instincts to stalk. This is important because the geese perceive the Border Collie as more of a threat than just a dog running after them. The more of a threat they sense, the longer they stay away, hence making Border Collies more effective.
	All of our Border Collies are professionally trained as working dogs. They all went through extensive training working with sheep, cattle, ducks and of course geese.
